The present invention relates to a method for predicting the reaction time of coke in a blast furnace. According to the present invention, the average particle diameter of the coke, that is charged into the blast furnace at each preset reference time point of charging, is calculated and is classified by section, and the reaction time of the coke in the blast furnace is derived with the average particle diameter of the coke at the respective reference time points of charging classified by section and the average gas use rate value at each of the reference time points of charging. The reaction time of the coke in the blast furnace is quantified so that the effect of the quality of the coke on blast furnace conditions can be understood with great accuracy and coke quality management for continuous air permeability in a lower portion of the blast furnace during a large-scale blast furnace operation can be facilitated. |
