The present invention relates to a self-assembly handrail and, more specifically, to a connecting device of a self-assembly handrail and an installation method thereof, which comprises a pillar installed at a certain distance; a connecting unit connected to one side surface of the pillar; and a coupling unit whose direction is adjustable through the hinge connection with the connecting unit, wherein a cross beam is installed on the coupling unit, the connecting unit is formed by having a base plate installed on one side surface of the pillar and a pair of brackets formed at a certain distance and hinged to the coupling unit on one side of the base plate, whose one side is open. A hole is formed on the pair of brackets, to which a hinge bolt is coupled; a holder which is formed on the coupling unit in the shape of a″��Prime; or in the shape of a hexahedron whose one side surface is open to cover three sides or all sides of the cross beam end of the handrail; a coupling unit bracket is formed on one side of a perpendicular plane of the holder, which is coupled to the pair of brackets on the connecting unit; a coupling unit hole is formed on the coupling unit brackets, to which the hinge bolt is coupled; and a combining hole is formed on a center of the perpendicular plane of the holder, which is coupled to a coupling part connected to the cross beam for sliding. |
