An information terminal equipped with a DMB receiving module and a handover method therefore are provided to connect the information terminal to a channel transmitting the broadcasting signal automatically in case that the information terminal equipped with the DMB receiving module. A handover determiner(1610) determines whether to drive a handover module according to the necessity of the handover. A location calculation unit(1620) uses a GPS(Global Positioning System) receive module as the hand over module. The current position of the information terminal is measured. A candidate extracting unit(1640) extracts DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) transmitting stations which are adjacent to the information terminal with reference to the result of computation of the distance measuring unit. A transmitting station determining unit(1650) selects the hand over object DMB transmitting station based on distance between the information terminal and the DMB transmitting station. |
