The invention relates to electric engineering and design of transport control units, including large dump trucks and electric locomotives. A contactor for control of a transport vehicle comprises a housing of a forward magnetic actuator, an armature having non-magnetic support at the end thereof, a coil of the forward magnetic actuator, a slot-type arc extinguish chamber, power contacts: movable and stationary, main and arching contacts. Also, auxiliary contacts, a resistor in a forced electric circuit, a return spring and a time relay are introduced. Herein, the power and auxiliary contacts, the arc extinguish chamber and the magnetic actuator are mounted on a support bar made fully molded from one-directional insulation material. The auxiliary contacts drive mechanism is made as two double arm levers parallel installed on the upper flange, symmetrically located on both sides of a pusher rod. In the proposed design, the drive armature comprises two coaxially fixed non-magnetic rods installed in the bearings of drive housing. An insulating pusher is fixed on the upper rod, which is face to the main contacts. The insulating pusher interacts with the bearings installed on a revolute arm of power contacts. A magnetically conductive disk is installed on the lower rod, which interacts with the constant magnets in-built in the lower cover of magnet housing. Application of the proposed design provides reduction of power resources consumption and increase of the contactor reliability and vibration stability of the main contact. |
