A method for the surgical correction of the recurrent tracheo-esophageal fistula in the children comprises the mobilization of trachea, esophagus and the passage of the fistula, the excision of the tracheo-esophageal fistula, the suturing of the defects of the walls of esophagus and trachea. The flap of intrathoracic fascia is excised in the area of the posterior wall of the thoracic cavity. Then the flap is sutured with interrupted sutures (Vicryl 5/0) around the plugged tracheo-esophageal fistula on the membranous part of trachea. |
