<p>The present invention relates to a culinary article (20) compatible with induction heating and to a process for manufacturing a recipient. The article comprises: a metal recipient (3) suitable for receiving foodstuffs and including a metal substrate comprising a base (9) compatible with induction heating, and a side wall (4); an electrical and/or electromechanical device (5); and at least one coil (16) for generating electricity, from a magnetic flux produced by the induction heating means (15), in order to power the electrical and/or electromechanical device. According to the invention, the coil is placed either on the internal surface (14a) or external surface (14b) of the base (9), or embedded in said substrate, either within a moulded metal or a plurality of metal layers that are joined together, at least some distance away from the electrical resistance and without adhesive bonding, by direct metal-metal contact and interlacing and/or physico-chemical metal-metal bonding.</p> |
