Springs 17-21 are brought into compression successively between a bar 16 and the chassis 15 (to which the bar 16 is jointed at 12). A link 23 and spring 22 prevent excessive rebound. In a modification (Fig. 4, not shown) a single road wheel is carried by the arm 16. The position of the joint 12 may be adjusted by means of shims 30, 31.</p> |
