PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic vinyl copolymer capable of being obtained by a continuous bulk polymerization method, and excellent in shock resistance, product appearance and heat resistance, and to provide a thermoplastic resin composition obtained from the copolymer and a manufacturing method of the copolymer.SOLUTION: An aromatic vinyl copolymer is obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture containing an aromatic vinyl-based monomer obtained by continuous bulk polymerization of a monomer component using an initiator of 50 to 82 wt.% and a vinyl cyanide monomer of 18 to 50 wt.%, and has the amount of an oligomer remaining in the aromatic vinyl-based copolymer of 1.2 wt.% or less and the amount of the remaining initiator of 20 ppm or less. |
