The drive device (1) has a compressor for compressing the air supplied to a fuel cell. The compressor is operatively connected to an impulse turbine (5) to which the exhaust gas of the fuel cell is supplied. The bearing portions (6,7) are cooled convectively by the coolant flow (14). The exhaust gas is removed from the bearing portions by supplying the coolant between the fuel cell and the turbine of a supercharger (2).
