PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing mixing of a toner in a toner bottle and a toner in a developing unit when the toner in the toner bottle and the toner in the developing unit are different from each other, so as to form images with stable quality.SOLUTION: When a toner stored in a developing unit and a toner stored in a toner supply unit are different in color from each other, an image forming apparatus of the present invention permits the toner supply unit to supply the toner to the developing unit only when the amount of toner remaining in the developing unit is equal to or smaller than a predetermined supply limit amount. |
