The invention relates to a modular insulated container for storing goods at constant temperatures. The modular insulated container (1) has, in an outwardly insulating manner, at least one base (2), at least one cover (7) and at least four side walls (3 - 6) consisting of insulating material, which, after assembly, enclose the inner chamber provided for accommodating the goods in a thermally insulating manner. The at least four outwardly insulating side walls (3 - 6) can each be mounted separately with the at least one base (2) and/or the at least one cover (7). At least one of the mounted, outwardly insulating side walls (3 - 6) has in each case temperature control elements (11), which face the inner chamber and contain thermal storage fluids, which are separated from the inner chamber by means of thermally conductive material.
