PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-electric composite connector device to which both a cable and a photo-electric conversion module are attached, the device being configured such that a series of steps in its assembling process can proceed easily and efficiently and, moreover, an attached photo-electric conversion module can be recycled.SOLUTION: A first conductive shell 16A is attached to an insulation housing 15 in which a plurality of cables 12 are attached to a cable fixing part 18. In this condition, a second conductive shell 16B in which a photo-electric conversion module 14 is attached to a photo-electric conversion module fixing part 30 is disposed opposite the first conductive shell 16A with the insulation housing 15 between them. The photo-electric conversion module 14 attached to the photo-electric conversion module fixing part 30 is disposed in a photo-electric conversion module accommodating part 20 formed in the insulation housing 15. Also, the engagement part 34, 35 of the second conductive shell 16B is engaged with the engagement part 23, 24 of the first conductive shell 16A. |
