<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for sidewall, capable of improving weather resistance, flexing crack growth resistance, and low consumption in well-balanced manner.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for sidewall contains a rubber component, carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 30 to 120 m/g, and a compound represented by the following formula (I), the content of diene rubber is 60% to 75% by mass, and the content of copolymer having a low degree of unsaturation is 25% to 40% by mass, relative to 100% by mass of the rubber component, the content of the carbon black is 20 to 60 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, and the content of the compound represented by the following formula (I) is 0.5 to 20 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the carbon black.
