<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule assembly that causes the output of a laser emitter bar to be coupled to the input face of an optical fiber.SOLUTION: A ferrule assembly 56 for arranging the input face 42 of an optical fiber 44 is provided with: an outside sleeve comprising a barrel part 80 having an inside bored part 81, an input end, and a flange member 82 extending from the barrel part 80 in the radial direction; a columnar fiber linking sleeve 83 so configured as to slide in the inside bored part of the outside sleeve in the axial direction and having an axially directed lumen 87 coaxial with the outer face and the input end; and the optical fiber 44 whose input end is fixed to the axially directed lumen 87 and to the inside bored part of the outside sleeve in a state in which the input end extends in the axial direction beyond the input end of the fiber linking sleeve 83.</p> |
