PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in fluid permeability, having little fluid remainder, hardly causing fluid return and also stably and inexpensively producible in a relatively simple process.SOLUTION: An intermediate layer 5 is arranged between a surface sheet 2 and an absorber 4. The intermediate layer 5 contains cross-linking cellulose fibers. The absorber 4 includes an absorbent core 40 containing absorptive material, and a core wrapping sheet 41 covering at least a skin-facing surface of the absorbent core 40 and containing paper or hydrophilic nonwoven cloth. When repeatedly measuring a fluid-permeable period of time with respect to the core wrapping sheet 41 three times or more by a prescribed measuring method, all the fluid-permeable period of time from the first to the third is 60 seconds or less. |
