PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine the utterance zone of a telephone call person on the basis of a reception signal mixing with a sidetone.SOLUTION: In the utterance zone determination device 400, a computer acquires a transmission signal input from a microphone of an ear receiver of a telephone set and a reception signal mixing with the transmission signal coming through a circuit of a telephone set main body, calculates a CSP coefficient using the acquired reception signal and transmission signal, and determines the utterance zone of a telephone call person in the reception signal referring to the magnitude of the value of the CSP coefficient.
