The present invention relates to a forming apparatus for an automotive floor mat which manufactures a floor mat in a desired shape while reducing the deformation of the floor mat and decreasing a failure rate by injecting a molten resin within a mold and performing molding, and to a forming method for an automotive floor mat using the same. The forming apparatus for an automotive floor mat comprises: a lower mold which accommodates a PVC sheet in an upper part; an upper mold which is arranged at the upper part of the lower mold; and a hot runner which is formed in the lower mold, wherein a resin thermally attached to the PVC sheet flows in. The forming method for an automotive floor mat of the present invention comprises: a step of safely arranging the PVC sheet on the lower mold; a step of performing sealing by lowering the upper mold while leaving the PVC sheet settled in the lower mold; a step of injecting the resin through the hot runner formed in the lower mold; and a step of thermally attaching the injected resin to the PVC sheet. An automotive floor mat according to the present invention reduces deformation and decreases a failure rate by injecting the resin of a molten state into the mold, eliminates material waste since the resin is injected in a shape of a project, increases work efficiency by simplifying a process and exhibits excellent sound insulation and sound absorption performances, wherein one among the important functions of an automotive floor mat is to prevent outdoor noise from flowing in. |
