The present invention relates to a method for restoring a communications trouble by the control of a central node and a ring network therefor. The ring network according to the present invention includes two paths for transmitting a signal by using one line and performs a protection switching operation. The ring network is operated to transmit the signal in a second direction path if a trouble occurs in a first direction path among two paths.
