An RF coil arrangement (100), being adapted for magnetic resonance imaging of a sample (1) in a sample space (2) under investigation, comprises a plurality of carrier boards (10, 20, 30) being made of printed circuit boards and carrying a plurality of coil segments (11), wherein the carrier boards (10, 20, 30) are mechanically connected with each other so that a three-dimensional arrangement of coil segments (11) is formed. Furthermore, a method of manufacturing the coil arrangement and a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus including the coil arrangement are described. |
