A handle height adjusting mechanism for a stroller that includes an upper handle 21 and a lower handle 22 telescoping the upper handle 21 comprises an operating structure 50, an engaging structure (70, fig 3), and a pulling component (60, fig 4). The operating structure 50 is disposed on an upper end of the upper handle 21, and the engaging structure (70, fig 3) is disposed inside a lower end of the upper handle 21 and detachably engaged with the lower handle 22 and the pulling component (60, fig 4) is connected to the operating structure 50 and the engaging structure (70, fig 3). The operating structure 50 drives the pulling component (60, fig 4) to pull the engaging structure (70, fig 3) to be unlocked so as to adjust a relative height between the upper handle 21 and the lower handle 22. The operating structure 50 may include a sliding component (52, fig 4) disposed in the upper handle 21 and connected to the pulling component (60, fig 4) and a button (51, fig 4) slidably disposed on the upper handle 21 and contacting against the sliding component (52, fig 4) to drive the sliding component (52, fig 4) for pulling the engaging structure (70, fig 3) to be unlocked.
