The present invention relates to a touch sensing system and a power consumption control method thereof. The touch sensing system includes: multiple sensing units which sample and accumulate voltages received from a touchscreen; and multiple analog-digital converters which convert the output from the sensing units to digital data. In a standby mode, the sensing units and analog-digital converters are divided into multiple groups, and each of the multiple groups includes two or more sensing units and one analog-digital converter. The groups are sequentially operated by the unit of a group in the standby mode, and the sensing units in one of the groups are sequentially operated in the standby mode. |
