The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for managing a game screenshot using exchangeable information file (EXIF) metadata. The apparatus for managing a game screenshot using EXIF metadata includes: an online game executing means for accessing an online game server through a network and executing an online game; a screenshot creating means for capturing a screen of an online game being executed by the online game executing means and creating a screenshot image file; and a metadata creating means for obtaining online game situation information at the time of the screenshot creation from the online game executing means and creating metadata, wherein the screenshot creating means stores the created metadata in an EXIF header of the created screenshot image file.
