FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diesel fuel feed system and can be widely used at engine production plants, haulage enterprises, etc, for feed of water-fuel emulsion into engine cylinder. Proposed unit comprises fuel feed system composed by fuel booster pump and line to feed fuel to injection system composed of high-pressure fuel pump and heated water feed system to force water to booster feed inlet, said system being composed by two serial tanks, pump, water return line to force water downstream of the pump into tank, and solenoid valve. Injection system comprises fuel pump with fuel flow rate metre arranged downstream of said tank, line to return fuel to booster pump inlet, high-pressure line, constant pressure controller and atomiser. Note that water feed system comprises extra pump delivery adjusting device, pressure transducer and calibrated nozzle downstream of the pump. Said calibrated nozzle is arranged at water return line at tank downstream of the pump. Water feed system is furnished with heat insulation. Additionally, level gage and temperature gage are fitted in said tank. Besides, this unit incorporates the governing controller. Fuel flow rate metre, pump delivery adjusting device, solenoid valve, temperature and pressure gages are connected to said controller.EFFECT: diesel water-fuel emulsion unit operated automatically irrespective of engine operation and ambient air temperature.1 dwg |
