A head up display device for a vehicle is provided to prevent contrast degradation and damage to a display device by blocking an ultraviolet ray through a polarizing plate. A head up display device for a vehicle includes a wind shield(220), a display device(212), a combiner(214), and a polarizing film(230). The wind shield is formed in a front surface of a vehicle. The display device displays image information. The combiner projects the image information displayed in the display device to operator, and performs a virtual image. The polarizing film is formed between the combiner and the wind shield. The polarizing film polarizes and blocks an external ultraviolet ray. |
