Disclosed is a DC-DC converter converting a DC input of a first voltage into a DC output of a second voltage. The disclosed DC-DC converter is called as a step-down converter because the value of the second voltage is lower than that of the first voltage. The disclosed converter controls the switching operation of a switch based on a difference between the DC output and a reference voltage. The voltage of the DC output is determined according to the length of a time interval while the switch is opened and closed. |
