FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to a method for determination of shifting points for a vehicle gearbox, to a method of shifting points usage, to a shifting points determination system and to the vehicle. The method for determination of shifting points consists in determination of one or more shifting points based on the target engine speed and a difference of the engine first speed. The target engine speed represents the required engine speed. The difference of the first engine speed represents the difference between the first engine speed at the first time point and the target engine speed at the second time point. The first and second time points are separated by a time period. A shifting point represents the engine speed at which the gearbox performs downshifting or upshifting. The method of shifting points usage during the gear shifting in the vehicle gearbox consists in determination of one or more shifting points according to the above mentioned method. The proposed system comprises a control unit with a possibility to exercise control over the gearbox according to the above mentioned method.
