PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure for sealing the periphery of a rotating shaft 2 having a substantially horizontal axis O by bringing a seal lip 12 into close contact with a seal flange 21, capable of reducing a number of parts, and capable of preventing a sealing target fluid passing through a sliding part S of the seal flange 21 and the seal lip 12 to an inner periphery of the seal lip 12 from flowing to an outside space B during stop of the shaft.SOLUTION: A sealing structure includes a seal flange 21 integrally formed with a rotating shaft 2 having a substantially horizontal axis O, and a seal lip 12 attached to a non-rotating housing 3 side into which the rotating shaft 2 is inserted and slidably brought into close contact with the seal flange 21, and an annular protrusion 22 positioned on an inner peripheral side of the seal lip 12 and continued to the circumferential direction is integrally formed on an outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft 2. |
