PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide furniture saving a space in an office or the like by effectively disposing a plurality of chairs at one place.SOLUTION: The furniture includes: a desk 2 having a top board 20 and legs 21 at substantially center of the top board 20; and four chairs 3, 3, ... can be stored under the top board 20 and having a same quadrilateral shape being long in one direction in plan view. When the four chairs 3, 3, ... are stored under the desk 2, surfaces having short sides α and surfaces having long sides &bgr; are brought into contact, with their flush with each other. The short sides α and the long sides &bgr; are joined on a straight line so as to form a substantial square surrounding the legs 21, 21, ... of the desk 2. |
