PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the use band of an image signal needed in a signal processing circuit had to be suppressed as much as possible.SOLUTION: A signal processing circuit 4 comprises: a first development unit 23 for writing a YC 4K image signal derived by separation of an RGB 4K image signal into a 4K(YC) region 34a; ;and a first resolution conversion unit 24 for converting to an RGB 2K image signal resolution of which is differentiated from that of the RGB 4K image signal. The signal processing circuit 4 further has: a second development unit 25 for writing a YC 2K image signal derived by separation of the RGB 2K image signal into a 2K(YC) region 34b of a memory 34; and an interface unit. The interface unit is connected to a peripheral device by a transmission line compliant with a prescribed interface standard. Then, by writing or reading the YC 4K image signal to or from the 4K(YC) region 34a, or by writing or reading the YC 2K image signal to or from the 2K(YC) region 34b, the signal processing circuit 4 inputs or outputs the YC 4K image signal or the YC 2K image signal to the peripheral device.
