The present invention relates to a ligand which can effectively and quantitatively detect iron ions (Fe2+) through a fluorescence analysis by synthesizing a novel pyridinyl-benzoimidazole compound, represented by the chemical formula 1, having a high fluorescent intensity. The compound of the chemical formula 1 of the present invention can detect the iron ions (Fe2+) with the naked eye by comprising other divalent cations and can detect the iron ions (Fe2+) even with a low concentration, thereby can very effectively detect the iron ions compared to a conventional iron ion sensor. |
