PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which generation of bubbles and squeezing out of an adhesive are prevented upon fixing a front window and a display panel with the adhesive.SOLUTION: The display device includes a front window protecting a display panel, in which the front window is fixed to a display screen side of the display panel with an adhesive layer. The display device includes: a light-shielding film formed in an annular state along an edge of the front window; and a transparent print layer formed to cover an opening enclosed by the light-shielding film, a stepped part formed in a boundary part between the light-shielding film and the opening, and a neighboring region of the stepped part in an opposing surface of the light-shielding film to the panel. The adhesive layer is formed at least between the region where the transparent print layer is formed and the display panel, including a region close to the opening and in the region where the light-shielding film overlaps the transparent print layer; and an adhesive layer formed by set-spreading of the initial adhesive layer during forming is present between an outer circumference part of the display panel or of the front window and an end of the transparent print layer. |
