The present invention relates to a foot step fixing device for a construction machine, capable of preventing a foot step from being damaged by absorbing impact when the external impact is applied to the foot step mounted on a side frame of an excavator. The foot step fixing device for a construction machine in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes a fixing sheet which is fixed to the outer surface of the side frame and has a connection hole and a long hole formed by penetrating the connection hole at right angles; a foot step main body having a boss corresponding to the connection hole on the inner surface; an elastic main body which is accommodated in the connection hole and absorbs the impact when the external impact is applied to the foot step main body; and a connection member which penetrates a penetration hole of the boss and the long hole of the fixing sheet and fixes the boss of the foot step main body to the fixing sheet to be able to move along the connection hole.
