<p>A process or a system for converting a solid biomass material is provided, comprising contacting the solid biomass material with a catalytic cracking catalyst at a temperature of more than 400° C. in a riser reactor to produce one or more cracked products. The riser reactor contains: a riser reactor pipe, which riser reactor pipe has a diameter that increases in a downstream direction; and a bottom section connected to the riser reactor pipe, which bottom section has a larger diameter than the riser reactor pipe.</p> |
