An injection device (1) has a plunger (5), a cylinder device (7), a drive device (11), and a removable unit (13). The plunger (5) is capable of extruding a molding material into a cavity (105). The cylinder device (7) has a piston rod (25) linked to the plunger (5). The drive device (11) has a driven unit (a nut (65) and an output member (71)), and is capable of driving the driven unit in the direction in which the piston rod (25) moves. The removable unit (13) is capable of linking the piston rod (25) and the driven unit so as to restrict the relative forward movement of the driven unit with respect to the piston rod (25), and that linkage is capable of being released. |
