PURPOSE: A method for playing contents by considering vehicle travelling environment and a navigation system adopting the same are provided to enjoy the contents continuously without being influenced by surrounding traffic environment, by adjusting streaming speed in a management server. CONSTITUTION: A navigation terminal (100) is provided with traffic information from a management server (200). The navigation terminal sets and manages judgment criteria selecting the kind of contents according to the traffic information and position or speed of a vehicle. The navigation terminal receives the traffic information and measures the position or the speed of the vehicle. The navigation terminal selects and acquires the contents of correspondence relation which is established on the basis of predicted information in the future according to the measured position or speed of the present vehicle and traffic information.
