PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precise position detection sensor and position detector at a low cost.SOLUTION: The position detection sensor includes: first and second detection coils 6 and 7 disposed being separated from each other, the impedance of which changes according to the change of the state of an object 2 to be detected; a driving circuit (oscillation circuit 8) that electrically drives the first and second detection coils 6 and 7 integrally; absolute value signal detection means 9 that detects electric signals according to a synthesized impedance of the first and second detection coils 6 and 7; and relative value signal detection means 10 that detects electric signals according to the impedance difference between the first and second detection coils 6 and 7. With this, the precise position detection sensor 3 and the position detector 1 can be achieved at a low cost. |
