摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery voltage equalization method and device, with which it is possible to, even when voltage equalization is performed for respective batteries in a battery pack while performing charging, prevent a situation where only some of the batteries reach a fully charged state.SOLUTION: In order to equalize voltages or states of charge of a plurality of chargeable batteries E1 to E4 connected in series, a current is caused to flow in each pair of adjacent batteries among the batteries connected in series so that the current flows from one of the batteries having a high voltage to the other of the batteries having a low voltage. The current flows through switches SW11 to SW32, which are ON/OFF-controlled by a battery controller 10, and inductors L1 to L3. Also, a current for charging all of the batteries connected in series is caused to flow by a charger 20. Control is exerted so that the current for the battery voltage equalization is larger than the current for the charging. A magnitude of the current for the battery voltage equalization is controlled through changing of a frequency of the ON/OFF control of the switches SW11 to SW32.
