PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing paraffin and a paraffin manufacturing apparatus each capable of inhibiting a reaction temperature gain during a hydrogenating reaction for generating paraffin from an olefin and, as a result, of generating a high-purity paraffin by inhibiting the occurrence of the decomposition of the olefin or paraffin at the time of the hydrogenating reaction.SOLUTION: The provided paraffin manufacturing apparatus (100) includes a lead-out unit (2) and a hydrogenating reaction unit (3). A feed olefin, feed hydrogen, and paraffin are drawn out of the lead-out unit (2) and fed into the reaction vessel (31) of the hydrogenating reaction unit (3). Within the reaction vessel (31) of the hydrogenating reaction unit (3), targeted paraffin is generated by inducing, in the presence of a catalyst in a state where the fed paraffin also exists, a hydrogenating reaction based on the contact of the feed olefin and feed hydrogen. |
