The present invention relates to a flat cable manufacturing device for manufacturing a flat cable. More specifically, the device includes: a conducting wire supply unit which supplies a plurality of round conducting wires in a line; a pressing unit which presses the supplied round conducting wires flatly at regular intervals; an insulation sheath supply unit which supplies insulation sheath to be covered to the top and the bottom of the conducting wires; a top/bottom punching unit which punches holes on the supplied insulation sheath at regular intervals; a top/bottom attaching unit which attaches a reinforcing film in line with the holes; a welding unit which welds the insulation sheath passing through the top/bottom attaching unit to the top and the bottom of the conducting wires passing through the pressing unit; a cutting unit which cuts a manufactured flat cable passing through the pressing unit into pieces of a certain width; and a winding unit which winds the flat cable onto one or more reels. By doing so, the flat cable manufacturing device is able to supply a plurality of round conducting wires in a line, form pressed sections in which the supplied round conducting wires are pressed flatly at regular intervals, and selectively perform punching on top/down insulation sheath which covers the top and the bottom surfaces of the pressed sections and attaching of a top/bottom reinforcing film. |
