The electric organic component comprises a substrate (1), former electrode (2), which has an anode, former electrically semiconducting layer (3) on the former electrode, an organic functional layer (4) on the former electrically semiconducting layer, and a later electrode (5) on the organic functional layer. The former or the later electrode is arranged on the substrate. The electrically semiconducting layer is doped with a dopant material which comprises rhenium compounds e.g. rhenium heptoxide. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing an electric organic component, which involves preparing a substrate, and a functional sandwich on the substrate. |
