<p>The device has an extinguishing agent storage unit positioned adjacent to storage system exteriors, and including components for proper functions. A storage system comprises electronic control units that are assigned with control units of an extinguishing system, which is operatively coupled the storage system. A self-sufficient function unit is provided with complementary dual functions, where inert gas i.e. nitrogen, is utilized as a fire extinguishing agent in a pressure cylinder (4), which is positioned in free spaces in a floor area within a closed storage system (01). The components are selected from connectors and cables. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a fire extinguishing equipment in a closed technical storage system.</p> |
