A locking mechanism for an access panel of a storage locker comprising:
a receiver plate and a lock bolt moveable between an extended position and a retracted position, the receiver plate further comprising a planar member having a recess therein for engaging the extended lock bolt in the locked position; and
wherein the locking mechanism further comprises a stop member mounted on the receiver plate and slideable between a second position proximal to the recess and a first position overlying the recess and wherein the stop member is arranged to cooperate with the lock bolt to slide the stop member from the first position to the second position.
