<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus in which position adjustment is improved by avoiding the occurrence of deviation in a reference image with respect to the scanning surface of an ultrasonic tomographic image imaged according to the position of a probe.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus creates a reference image corresponding to an ultrasonic tomographic image of a subject using the ultrasonic tomographic image of the subject and the reference volume data of the subject and then displays the reference image. The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: means for creating ultrasonic volume data of the subject from signals obtained from a probe; means which on the basis of tomographic images on at least two orthogonal cross sections of the reference volume data and the ultrasonic volume data, relates the coordinate system of each of the volume data; and means for displaying the reference image of the cross section according to the position of the probe based on the related coordinate system.</p> |
