PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper-made reed instrument having a bellows that supplies air by manual action to give monotones and compound tones, the same or different tones depending on whether the bellows is pushed or drawn, and a production kit for the instrument.SOLUTION: A reed instrument resembling an accordion has a lovely appearance rich in aesthetic design features and is made light in weight, compact enough to be held in a palm and simple enough to be assembled by anybody above a certain age by using paper as the material for the instrument body and the bellows. This paper-made reed instrument could intensify any person's love for or interest in it besides the fun of playing it because a production kit involves the process of assembling and complete the instrument. Besides solo performance, a number of such instruments can be used in ensemble performance in which each performer would be assigned a different note to play as in hand bell ensemble. Performance in ensemble would make sustainable the joy of playing the instrument while communicating with the partners. |
