PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which is easily fabricated and has high reliability.SOLUTION: An actuator includes a shape memory alloy 4, a mover 3 having a first protrusion part 3t of protrusive shape or a hollow part 2k of hollow shape and a stator 2 which has a hollow part 2k arranged opposite to the first protrusion part 3t of the mover 3 when the mover 3 has the first protrusion part 3t, or has the first protrusion part 3t arranged opposite to the hollow part 2k of the mover 3 when the mover 3 has the hollow part 2k. Therein, the stator 2 is provided with electrodes 7a, 7b for applying electric current to the shape memory alloy 4 and both edge parts of the shape memory alloy 4 are fixed respectively on positions eccentric from the centers of the electrodes 7a, 7b such that the shape memory alloy 4 is turned in the predetermined direction. |
