The passenger car has a steering wheel that is displaced in interior of vehicle by a control unit. The control unit brings the steering wheel with an intended reverse travel of the car in a different position than driving forward. The intended reverse movement by the reverse gear is performed by the driver. The control unit brings the steering wheel to the position that is closer to the driver and/or higher than the steering wheel position. A belt tensioner is controlled such that the seat belt has large belt backlash.
