PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device that can have a spring member mounted in a predetermined direction at relatively low cost.SOLUTION: An optical pickup device includes: an optical component which guides laser light emitted from a laser diode to a signal recording surface of an optical disk; a lead screw which has a screw groove; a holder which has a projection piece projecting toward the lead screw and holds the optical component; a spring member which has a piece on one end side elastically energized to the screw groove and a piece on the other side inserted to a first depth position of a positioning groove having a depth along the projection direction of the projection piece so as to be wound and mounted on teh projection piece, and moves the holder along the optical axis of the laser light passing through the optical component according to the rotation of the lead screw; and a prevention member which prevents the piece on the other end side from being inserted up to the first depth position of the positioning groove when the piece on the other end side faces the projection piece 1 in a second state different from a first state in which the piece on the other end side can be inserted into the first depth position of the positioning groove. |
