A composition for making an extended edge fastening portion of a safety glass laminate (see Groups VIII and X) comprises an elastomer-forming siloxane and an inorganic pigment in amount of from 1 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts of siloxane. Pigments specified are iron oxide, calcium carbonate, aluminium silicate, carbon black, zinc chromate, barytes, silica, magnesium silicate, alumina and titanium-calcium and titanium-barium pigments. Carbon black and aluminium powder when used in certain proportions are stated to prevent curing of the siloxane.
