PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus which is controlled to resume transmission under certain conditions, when the connection state is released and transmission of a content is stopped during transmission of a content to an external apparatus, and to provide control method and program.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus includes an external interface 14 for connection with an external apparatus, a reproduction unit 21 for reproducing a content, and a control unit 22 for transmitting a content reproduced by the reproduction unit 21 to the external apparatus, while the external apparatus is connected with the external interface 14. When the connection state of the external interface 14 and the external apparatus is released, while the reproduction unit 21 is reproducing, the control unit 22 stops reproduction by the reproduction unit 21. When the connection state is established again within a prescribed time, the control unit 22 resumes reproduction by the reproduction unit 21 and transmits a reproduced content to the external apparatus. |
