<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine capable of performing sewing with good accuracy to a preset position.SOLUTION: When a user designates an end position of sewing on a work cloth with an ultrasonic pen, a sewing machine specifies the position as a first position (S6), and calculates a first distance from a reference position where sewing is started to the first position (S7). The sewing machine executes processing of sewing only by a second distance from the reference position to a scheduled rest position according to sewing data (S11). When the user re-designates the end position with the ultrasonic pen, the sewing machine specifies the position as the second position (S14), and calculates a third distance from the reference position to an actual rest position (S15). The sewing machine calculates conveyance efficiency of the work cloth by a conveyance mechanism and a feeding dog based on the second distance and the third distance (S16), and corrects a remaining fourth distance based on the conveyance efficiency (S18). The sewing machine performs processing of sewing only by a fifth distance after the correction according to the conveyance data (S19).</p> |
